So… I’ve confessed my slight obsession with bottles. Now, it’s time for confession number two. Feathers.
I think I need to revisit my childhood growing up in the country to really understand why I am so in love with feathers. But let me tell you any opportunity I have to incorporate them into my work, I do so. This doesn’t just stand for my design work either, I will often incorporate them into my event styling as well!
I think it’s the beautiful colours and soft textures that makes feathers so attractive. In this little pictured piece I’ve combined stunning feathers with a pre-loved vinegar bottle. This design now sits proudly on our mantlepiece as a reminder of how my obsessions can work harmoniously together.
